CEO and Founder of Tamika's School of Epicure. Tamika grew up in Valdosta, Georgia. She credits her grandmother for her love of cooking. Growing up in a single-parent home with her mother working two jobs, Tamika rarely saw home-cooked meals from her mom — but everyone was welcome to cook at her grandmother's house, including Tamika.
Tamika was ten years old when she first learned how to prepare rice. Years of practical food knowledge and hands-on cooking led her to open Tamika's School of Epicure in 2020, where she began teaching cooking classes. She specializes in corporate team-building, private parties, and lunch-and-learn sessions for seniors, and enjoys sharing her skills with all types of groups.
Tamika hopes to pass along techniques, knowledge, and insight that can be used to create incredible healthy dishes for the youth. She is also the proud mother of two adult children.
Mission Statement: To teach youth the joy and value of cooking while cultivating their creativity.
Vision Statement: Empowering youth to have a Healthy and Fun relationship with the kitchen.
